Timesheets
- Student Workers must record their hours worked at the beginning of each shift. Timesheets can be found in the black file bin located in the back office space.
- Intentionally falsifying your timesheet will result in immediate dismissal.
Resigning Your Position
- You can resign your position at any time in the event of an emergency, class conflict, or other conflict of interest. If possible, you should try to notify your supervisor at least two weeks in advance of your last day.
Your Schedule
- We depend on you. Please work your prearranged shifts. If you are going to miss a shift or be late, inform a supervisor as soon as possible. If you’ll be absent, try to find another student worker to cover your shift. Once you find someone to cover your shift, you must inform your supervisor of the change. It is your responsibility to let your supervisor know if you will be late or absent. We do understand that school requirements come first. If you need a change in your schedule, it must be approved by your supervisor.
- Should you have to be absent or late to work, please notify Kadie LaFlamme and Linda Wilkins as early as possible to report your planned absence or tardiness. If you’re unable to call before your shift begins, please call as soon as possible afterwards.
Good Time Management vs. Bad Time Management
Flexibility
- We realize that your primary focus at Merrimack College is your education. We will not schedule you to work during a class period and will adjust your work schedule as necessary during midterm and final exams.
- We will try to be flexible, but your commitment to this position should take precedence over other jobs, social events, etc.
