Training videos, reenactments, and therapy sessions conducted by renowned counseling professionals. Colleciton includes films in emerging areas including mindfulness and cyberbullying.
Collection of 38,000+ streaming videos ranging from documentaries to educational films to instructional videos.
Curated streaming video collection of popular documentaries. You can only view titles that Merrimack currently licenses. To request a Kanopy video, search for the video on Kanopy and submit a “Request for Access” form or email us at mcquadeacquisitions@merrimack.edu
Catherine Wong, Liaison Librarian for the School of Health Sciences, took part in a panel discussion at the Fellows Forum at the 2018 Health Literacy Leadership Institute at Tufts University School of Medicine on Health Literacy Partnerships and Collaborations. Catherine spoke about her Plain Language for Health and Medline Plus workshops she developed for students and librarians.
Farmer Dave's Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Share Outs began on June 13 and will continue until October. If you are looking for an easy way to increase your fruit and vegetable intake and support a local, sustainable farm, then visit Farmer Dave's CSA page to sign up and select Merrimack College as your pick up location. Vegetable shares are available in small and large sizes and fruit shares are also available. The full season is 20 weeks, but you can sign up throughout the season. Contact Librarian C.J. Wong at McQuade if you are looking to share a share.

Kathryn Geoffrion Scannell and Lyena Chavez contributed a poster at ACRL's 2018 New England Chapter Annual Conference held in Plymouth, Massachusetts in May. The conference's theme was "Failing Forward: Experimentation and Creativity in Libraries." The poster entitled "Pivot, and Pivot Again: Ever-Nimble Library Leadership" highlighted examples of "pivoting" in response to space-re-purposing and evolving curricula, and showcased unexpected opportunities for collaboration.
Paper Circuits are just some of the new S.T.E.M. resources recently added to the Education Resources Collection. Bella and Leelabiri, two delightful summer visitors, lit up the ERC with their creations!
Merrimack has a new Overdrive site which highlights Overdrive titles of specific interest to Merrimack. Merrimack users will have prioritization on holds for select titles purchased with McQuade funds, for titles such as Tattoos on the Heart and Betsy Myer's Take the Lead.
