Merrimack College is a member of the NOBLE North of Boston Library Exchange, a consortium of 24 academic and public libraries north of Boston. NOBLE members have a shared library catalog, powered by open-access Evergreen software, enabling libraries to maintain the catalog cooperatively and easily share resources.
The NOBLE Library Catalog allows users to:
- Search for McQuade Library's books, ebooks, streaming videos, DVDs, and more as well as the holdings of other NOBLE libraries.
- Modify searches by author, subject, format, and more
- Text a book location to one's phone
- Link to online materials.
With your Library Catalog account (barcode and password) users can:
- Renew checked-out materials
- Place and cancel holds (requests for materials at other libraries or checked out) and make renewals without staff help.
- Receive hold alerts via text message or email
- Set and reset your password without help from staff
- Create lists and more
