Silent study
Use the Quiet Study room on the 2nd floor if you are looking for a space to study in silence. Keep in mind that during the renovation it will be impossible to ensure complete silence. But this room is as close as you will get.
Small, quiet group study
If you are looking for a place to work quietly with a friend or small group (up to 4 people), use the tables on the 2nd floor along the south-facing windows (those facing the pond). Be aware of the other students around you. If you need to converse with others, e.g practicing presentations, etc. use a Seminar Room instead.
Group study
Looking for a place to work as a group and not have to worry about noise? Use one of the Seminar Rooms on the 3rd floor or basement level. These rooms are in high demand and frequently used. Those who have reserved the room take priority. Be sure to check with the Circulation Desk for room availability and to reserve the space when you need it.
Individual study
For independent study, use the study carrels on the 3rd floor along the north and south-facing windows.
