Nonprofit Financials

Organization's web site
Some nonprofits post an annual report with financial statements on their web site. About Us or similar links may be at the bottom of their home page.

Nonprofits with revenues over $25,000 are required to file Form 990s with the IRS. Organizations may also post annual reports at their web sites.

Charity Navigator
Use Advanced Search to screen national charities by cause, scope, location, expense range and CEO salary. Sort results by name, rating and location, or filter further.
GuideStar
Register to search by location and by keyword. Look up a known nonprofit to identify possible search terms such as the NTEE code for type of organization.
