Sample Questions

Not sure what to ask? No problem! Below are some sample questions you can use to get your conversation going. 
  • What kind of discrimination have you faced?
  • How do people treat you when they find out you are [fill in the blank}?
  • What do you do to break down stereotypes OR misconceptions?
  • How long have you been [fill in the blank, as appropriate]?
  • Ask the human book how they feel about specific terms, ideas or associations used to stereotype or label them.

Feel free to ask any question you like. Books are not obligated to answer any questions they consider too personal, or rude.
