Circulation services are overseen by the Access Services Department, which is located on the library's 1st floor at the Help Desk.

Access Services is staffed by library staff and student workers who are happy to assist with:

• Checking out/ checking in library items
• Obtaining course reserves
• Requesting materials from other libraries (interlibrary loan)
• Managing patron library accounts
• Answering inquiries and referring to other library departments

How many items can a student check out from the library?

• Maximum items out:  Unlimited
• Loan Period:  30 days
• Maximum Renewals Per Item:  2 times (for total of 3 months)

***These loan rules only apply to materials owned by Merrimack College, not those requested via interlibrary loan.
