Teaching Excellence Advancement Challenge (TEACH)

This guide provides support and resources for Merrimack College faculty for the Office of the Provost's TEACH initiative.

Teaching Excellence Advancement Challenge (TEACH)

Teaching Excellence Advancement Challenge (TEACH) is a new Office of the Provost initiative supporting innovative pedagogy and curriculum development launching in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Modeled on the Strategic Academic Research Trajectory (START) program, TEACH will utilize a cohort model to incentivize faculty collaboration to achieve pedagogical and curricular innovation.

The key areas of focus for TEACH this year will be supporting active pedagogies in larger classes, harnessing generative AI, creating a model for undergraduate course-based research experiences and developing novel interdisciplinary concentrations for the new general education core.

McQuade Librarians have partnered with the Office of the Provost to support faculty in each of these areas. This guide aims to provide support and resources for Merrimack College faculty as part of the TEACH initiative. Check the librarian profile on each page for contact details of the librarian assigned to support each TEACH area.
