If you search the databases listed here (or any other resource) and find articles that you want that the library does not have access to, you can request them using interlibrary loan.
Though we have great success with fulfilling interlibary loan requests, it may take from several days to several weeks for your articles to arrive so please plan accordingly.
Use the form below to request articles. Library staff will contact you when the article arrives and you can pick it up at the circulation desk, or they will email you a digital copy.
These databases include articles from both Popular and Scholarly sources. Always evaluate your sources carefully to be sure that you have the types articles you need!

History Databases:
Find U.S. History information from full-text magazines, academic journals, news articles, primary source documents, images, videos, audio files and links to vetted websites.
Interdisciplinary Databases:

Find books, ebooks, streaming videos, DVDs, articles, reports and more from a wide selection of McQuade's databases, the Library Catalog and beyond.
Use Boolean Operators (AND, OR, and NOT) to connect keywords or search words. This will help you search databases more effectively and efficiently, by retrieving more accurate results.
Use AND to connect two unlike words and narrow your search:

Place an asterisk (*) after the root of one your keywords to perform a Truncated search. This search is useful for plural terms, or words with multiple endings as this will search for all the endings at the same time.
