Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loans (ILLs) are loans one library borrows from another library on behalf of a patron.

If you find an article or book in one of our databases, on Google Scholar, or anywhere else that you do not have immediate access to, then you can make interlibrary loan requests for the materials and arrangements can be made to have those items sent to McQuade Library at no cost to you.

We have high rates of success with our interlibrary loan requests, but they can take still take some time to arrive, especially in the case of books and other physical materials, so please plan accordingly.

‚ÄčIf you have questions about the interlibrary loan process, or would like to check on the status of your interlibrary loan, contact Reference/Access Associate, Kadie Turcotte using the contact information in the box below.
