Request a Book, CD, or DVD - Cut and Paste Form

  • This service is for current Merrimack College students, faculty, and staff only.
  • Please check the NOBLE Catalog using the box on the left before placing a request.
  • Items generally arrive in less than two weeks.
  • To ensure you request is processed in a timely manner, please provide as much information as possible.

A Note About Textbooks:

Regrettably, the library cannot facilitate interlibrary loan requests for textbooks, because (1) few libraries own the latest edition of textbooks, (2) even fewer of those libraries are willing to lend textbooks, and (3) none of those libraries allow items they lend to be checked out for the entire semester.

Please email circ@merrimack.edu with any questions concerning this policy.

You may also use the Manual Entry Form.

Directions: Cut and paste one citation in each box (up to four per form) and then fill in your contact information in the appropriate boxes.

WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS

The copyright law of the U.S. (Title 17, U.S. Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material.

Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries are authorized to furnish photocopies or other reproductions. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement.

This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgement, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
