McQuade Library fosters the intellectual growth of the Merrimack community of lifelong learners and serves as a valuable center of information resources and customized instruction.
McQuade Library is an evolving center for learning, study and research. Rich in traditional print materials, media, and digital resources, it provides work spaces for groups as well as quiet corners for solitary study. Skilled and dedicated staff members are ready to assist students with anything from a simple article request to a full-scale research project, facilitating use of the broad-ranging collections both physical and virtual.
The McQuade Library is the academic center of Merrimack College. For most of the day the facility is open to the public; however, priority for services will be given to Merrimack community members. After midnight during the week, and after 5 on the weekend, access is limited to Merrimack community members: Merrimack students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Guests may be admitted if accompanied by a MACKCard holder.
The Library has a number of rooms that may be reserved for classes, events, workshops or other activities. For information pertaining to general building use, contact the Operations Manager, Robert O'Brien, at x5311. Other campus departments that are housed within the library have their own policies related to their services. One should contact those departments for specific information. Operating hours vary depending upon semester, holiday, and summer schedules--consult the Hours page on the library website.
