Scifinder Scholar contains both Chemical Abstracts (1907 to present) and MEDLINE (1949 to present).
Chemical Abstracts indexes and abstracts over 10,000 scientific journals and patents from 57 patent authorities. It also provides over "133,000 pre-1907 journal records and more than 1,250 records for U.S. patents issued from 1808-1859." Content includes journal articles, patents, substances, and chemical syntheses.
MEDLINE indexes and abstracts approximately 4,800 journals.
