Use our newspaper databases to find reviews for contemporary or classic films!

1.   Click on Advanced Search and enter the name of the film in the first search box 

2.  Scroll down the page to the Document Type box and select "Film Review" or "Review"

3.  If you are looking for an older film, us the Publication Date options select the date range for the film that corresponds to the film's release.

• If your search does not come up with any results related to the movie, try putting the title of the movie into quotes or adding the name of the director in the second box.
