When using any citation builder (including RefWorks or NoodleBib), you should double-check the results against the appropriate style guide or manual. No automated system is perfect, so always carefully examine the citations that are produced before inserting them into a "Works Cited" or "References" page.
Concise Rules of APA Style by APA (American Psychological Association) style is the most commonly used style to cite sources within the social sciences.
Be sure to consult McQuade Library's APA citation guide.
You may also need to refer to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. This book is on the 2nd floor in the reference section. Ask a librarian for it.
